Over the last few days I've been redesigning and relaunching Host2ls.com Free No Ad Web Hosting. I've added more Disk space and more Bandwidth so take a minute and check it out. There's a thumbnail pick you can click on to take you there if you like. Host2ls has taken up most of my time so that explains the lack of posting.

Today I was trying to figure out what I wanted to write about and I thought I'd make the Announcement of Host2ls.com being redesigned and upgraded. I didn't just want to put in your standard link and thought about a Thumbnail capture site I had seen awhile ago called WebSnaper, My thought is that a thumbnail capture of the main page is a lot more attractive than just a regular link. "If you clicked on it you just proved my point."

I've found another service called Thumshots.org thats super easy to implement and in just a few clicks you'll have it up and running. Check it out

Using the service is very simple just go to Websnaper enter in your domain name and just like that you can get a (202x52) or ( 90X70) micro pic.

They also have an option to use it on your website to get a bubble thumbnail pop-up after your links! This is a very Cool and Free service that's worth a look.

Another great service for displaying thumbnails on your site is ArtViper. Their Free service is a little more complicated to use but way more feature rich, You can set the height, Quality and a time delay on links which is great for capturing Flash sites. So it's up to you to decide where to go but I think these are both great tools you should check out. As ArtViper Say's on their site ("isn't it nicer to have some gfx on a page, not just plain text?") I couldn't agree more and plan on using thumbnails to my advantage when ever I can.

I had a Peel Script on my site up until a few days ago but I took it down for the new blog design. "Although I'm making a new one for a promotion."
Did you ever see the Peel Ad script and wish you had one on your site but didn't know where to get it, How to use it or it was just to expensive. Problem solved!
I've seen programs and scripts to make Peel Ads advertised for anywhere from 4 to 50 dollars online. I've done a bit of digging and found it for Free!

The first one is at Webpicasso and is totally Free, If you don't mind working with scripts a bit. You can do a heck of a lot. View the Homepage and get the script.

The second one is at Free Page Peel, This one is a lot easier to use. Simply edit the image templates provided on the homepage. Place them in the Peel creator on the main site and it produces a zip file with the code and the Html to display the Peel.

OK here's what I'm going to do this month just to check out any sort of response I'll get from it. This is a Comment Post contest, Very simple I want to get more of my visitors commenting on my posts so I've come up with a fun win-win way to do it.

I get a lot of traffic from other Blogs and from Blog Explosion. Free2ls.com is hosted on blogger but with a custom template. It is my nature that when I get into something I like to dig into it, rip it apart and figure out the inner workings.
That was why I started Free2ls.com, For many years I didn't have a credit card so most of the item's that people normally pay for I would try to source out an alternative and ended up amassing an enormous collection of links and mini-reviews I would make along the way for my own use. Time, Effort and research really do pay off.
That's beside the point. One thing I've heard many times while researching SEO optimization is that you need to have a good page title and your blog posts headings need to be keyword targeted.
One problem with Blogger is that the Default settings always show your page title first. Which is not proper and will penalize your search engine rankings. If you have a blog it should always have the post title followed by the page title not the other way around.
So I looked around and found a little hack that solves this problem and should help increase your rankings by displaying your posts properly.
I found this hack and tested it, It works fine and you should have no problem. it's very easy to implement and should be a snap.


Important: Remember to always backup your template before you edit anything in blogger.

First login to your Blogger dashboard, Select Layout = Edit Html " Remember to download your template"

Search for this line of code in the first paragraph of the Template.

<title><data:blog.pagetitle/></title>


Replace that entire line with.

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == &quot;index&quot;'>
<title><data:blog.title/></title>

<title><data:blog.pageName/></title>
</b:if>


There you have it, Your posts should now display properly!
